I believe that the world would be better off if people focused their efforts on mental health. If the thought process of people was adjusted to adapt to the changing times, our bodies would easily adapt to the changes as your actions change with the changing climate. Humans were born with skin that we naturally must protect with the changing of seasons to adjust. In the winter we wear warm clothes, turn on the heat inside to keep warm, and adjust ourselves to be comfortable in the cold. Animals are born with fur to protect themselves from the cold temperatures or cool themselves off when it is too warm. The world has been for as long as you can track focusing on the physical aspect and neglecting to nurture and protect mental health which can be even more important than physical. Many people are physically fit but lack mental health. They can be physically very healthy but have killed themselves due to their mental health. The mental, your mind, is the leader of the body.
Now, if we look through the history, we'll find out many criminals in the world, like Joseph Stalin or Hitler, they were mentally sick but also some were Leaders. They are sick and they are delayed, locked away for killing and people continue to neglect mental health. While if they always fostered and treated the sick mind, they may function as normal humans. But rather they just said this is bad criminal and the mental is being left untreated. While people with medically diagnosed disorders can be medically treated and managed. Left untreated often the individuals revert to smoking drugs and seeking other drugs to self-medicate.
We as a community need to come together and build a wall to beat mental health. We need institutions to prioritize mental health and teach people how to address their mental health. We need to start teaching children early in schools how to be mentally healthy, how to remain calm and manage anger and stress. More physicians need to specialize in this field, so people regularly attend because the resources are available to them.
